Daniel Peace

Daniel Peace is the founder of SIILK Gallery and a curator dedicated to championing emerging visual artists from underground and alternative scenes worldwide. His focus is on artists who produce their work independently, pushing the boundaries of originality in aesthetics and embracing the freedom of expression.Daniel’s curatorial vision celebrates quality, contemporary art that is bold, provocative, and progressive. He collaborates with artists whose work is incendiary, seductive, and unafraid to challenge traditional art norms.With an international portfolio, Daniel has curated and organized exhibitions globally and has collaborated with artists on immersive VR experiences for virtual exhibitions. Currently, he is organising collaborative exhibitions with “Siilk,” across Europe, with an array of solo and group shows planned for 2025.In addition, he is developing a series of conceptual exhibition spaces in northern Italy, known as “Tiny Gallerie,” which will focus on video and digital art. He is also in the process of establishing "VAI," an artist residency and workshop institution in a 15th-century Italian farmhouse, providing a creative haven across all artistic mediums.Originally from the UK, Daniel has lived and worked in London, Berlin, Mexico City, and Athens and has recently relocated to Turin, Italy. Daniel joined TAEX as a Curator in 2023.
